How to Identify Your S&W Model Number
Swing out the cylinder and check behind the yoke on the frame — the model number is stamped there. Model numbers began in 1957–58. If your revolver has no model number, it may pre-date 1957. In that case, contact us with your serial number and we'll help identify the correct part.
Installation
Disassembly and reassembly are required to replace this part. Installation by a qualified gunsmith is recommended. Factory replacement parts are manufactured to original S&W specifications and tolerances.
