There's a trick to replacing your rear sight blade on a S&W revolver. The trick is that by the time you see the rear sight plunger, it's too late. I knew just where to go to get the replacement for mine though and you should too. I've got'em bookmarked for the next amateur gunsmithing project I undertake and you should too.
