This listing is for one (1) used Smith & Wesson OEM cylinder and yoke assembly, Part #1070A, for the K Frame Model 10 in .38 Special. Blue steel finish, 6-shot cylinder. Good used condition.

This is the complete cylinder group assembly including the cylinder body, extractor star, ejector rod, and yoke (crane). The yoke is the swing-out arm that carries the cylinder assembly and locks into the frame when the cylinder is closed. Part #1070A is the variant fitted to 4" barrel and longer Model 10 revolvers — the yoke arm length is matched to these barrel configurations. It is NOT intended for 2" snub-nose variants, which use a different yoke specification. Genuine Smith & Wesson factory OEM assembly.

Condition Note: This is a used assembly in good condition. Normal wear consistent with use and age. Blue finish may show holster wear, handling marks, or cylinder drag line. Cylinder timing and lockup have been verified. Professional fitting and installation by a qualified gunsmith is recommended; cylinder timing should always be verified after installation.

Caliber Note: This cylinder is chambered for .38 Special only. It will NOT safely chamber or fire .357 Magnum cartridges (shorter cylinder length). Do not attempt to use .357 Magnum ammunition in a .38 Special cylinder.
