The bolt (also called the cylinder stop bolt) works in conjunction with the cylinder stop to index and lock each chamber in line with the barrel — a worn or damaged bolt leads to cylinder timing issues and inconsistent lockup. This new-style three-piece set fits the Model 317-2 J Frame chambered in .22 Long Rifle.
