Used factory original Smith & Wesson cylinder stop and spring for the L Frame Model 586 revolver chambered in .357 Magnum. The cylinder stop (also called the bolt) rises up from the frame to lock the cylinder in each chamber position during cocking and firing; the spring provides the tension that keeps it engaged. A worn or broken cylinder stop can cause cylinder play, poor lockup, or timing issues. Removed from a functioning revolver and inspected prior to sale.
