Genuine Smith & Wesson factory drawbar plunger for 3rd Generation TSW (Tactical Smith & Wesson) pistol models. The drawbar plunger works in conjunction with the drawbar and spring to operate the decocker mechanism — when the decocker is activated, the plunger safely lowers the hammer while blocking the firing pin. This is a critical safety component.
