This rear sight is constructed of durable, matte blued, steel and is an OEM factory original part from Smith & Wesson. This sight is designed for shield versions of the M&P 9 and 45 models of pistols from Smith & Wesson chambered in 9mm & .45 ACP respectively. The sight is simply installed onto the back of the slide and offers a low profile, tritium powered, set of beads to line up your shot.
