This is the factory original replacement mounting screw for New Style wood grips on Smith & Wesson revolvers. Features a Black Oxide Slotted Fillister Head finish. Fits J, K, L, N, and X Frame revolvers equipped with the newer-style grip panels.
⚠ Not compatible with older-style grip frames. If you are unsure which style your revolver uses, check the grip panel attachment point — new style grips use a single center screw.

How to Find Your Model Number
Swing out the cylinder and check behind the yoke on the frame — the model number is stamped there. Model numbers were introduced in 1957–58. If your revolver has no model number, it may pre-date 1957. In that case, contact us with your serial number and we'll help identify the correct part.
