Smith & Wesson N Frame Model 58 4" Pinned Barrel Assembly Blue Steel Used .41 Magnum - NB5821A
Smith & Wesson N Frame Model 58 4" Pinned Barrel Assembly — Blue Steel, Used
Part Lot # NB5821A | Used | N Frame | Model 58 | .41 Magnum | 4" | Pinned | Blue Steel | DA Fixed Sight
Used 4" pinned blued barrel assembly for the Smith & Wesson Model 58 N Frame revolver chambered in .41 Magnum. The Model 58 (produced 1964–1977) is one of the rarest standard-production S&W N Frame revolvers — a fixed-sight .41 Magnum service revolver discontinued after only 13 years of production. The .41 Magnum was conceived as a law enforcement cartridge, bridging the gap between the .357 Magnum and .44 Magnum in power and frame size.
The pinned barrel is a pre-1982 S&W feature — S&W removed barrel pins in 1982 as a cost-reduction measure. A pinned barrel on a Model 58 places this assembly firmly within the original 1964–1977 production run. Pinned barrels and recessed cylinders are the two features most sought by vintage S&W collectors and restorers. A factory 4" blued pinned barrel assembly for the Model 58 is an exceptionally rare find.
