Factory Smith & Wesson used stainless rebound slide assembly for the L Frame Model 681 Distinguished Service Revolver chambered in .357 Magnum. The rebound slide returns the trigger forward after each shot and resets the action for the next pull. The Model 681 is the fixed-sight stainless version of the 686. Gunsmith installation recommended.
