Unlike hammers, triggers and hands are interchangeable across all K Frame models regardless of caliber (centerfire and rimfire). Verify trigger width compatibility with your specific model before ordering.

Function

The trigger controls the firing sequence in both single-action and double-action operation. The integrated hand engages the cylinder ratchet to rotate the cylinder one chamber per trigger pull, ensuring proper chamber-to-barrel alignment. Worn triggers cause inconsistent double-action pull weight and poor cylinder timing.

Installation Note

Gunsmith installation recommended. Trigger and hand fitting requires timing verification to ensure proper cylinder rotation and lockup. Incorrect installation can cause timing failures or cylinder binding.
