Factory original Smith & Wesson MIM (Metal Injection Molded) cylinder stop (bolt) and spring removed from a used Model 642 revolver chambered in .38 Special. The Model 642 is a J-frame DAO Centennial-style revolver with an aluminum alloy frame and concealed hammer — a popular concealed carry revolver. MIM cylinder stop components are standard for the 642’s production era (post-1997). The cylinder stop indexes and locks the cylinder at each chamber position during firing. Cleaned and inspected.
