Genuine Smith & Wesson factory original rebound slide and spring removed from a K-frame pre-Model 10 .38 M&P revolver. The rebound slide returns the hammer to the rest position after firing and is a critical component of the double-action trigger mechanism. This is an old-style pre-model era part for early S&W K-frame swing-out cylinder revolvers produced before the model numbering system began in 1957–58.
