Smith & Wesson J Frame Model 442 Thumb Piece & Nut — .38 Special
Factory Smith & Wesson thumb piece and nut for the J Frame Model 442 revolver. This is the old-style design — a genuine OEM used replacement part in good working condition.
The thumb piece (cylinder release latch) is the lever used to swing the cylinder out for loading and unloading. The nut secures it to the frame. Replacing a worn or damaged thumb piece restores smooth, reliable cylinder operation.
