Important Notes

Barrel length: Newer production J Frame revolvers (roughly 2000s onward) have true 2" barrels and require a longer extractor rod. This rod is for the older 1 7/8" barrel. Measure your barrel tip to tip before ordering.

Installation: Requires disassembly and fitting by a qualified gunsmith.

Note: This part is also commonly referred to as an ejector rod.

How to Find Your Model Number

Swing out the cylinder and check behind the yoke on the frame. Model numbers began in 1957–58. If there is no model number, your revolver may be older — contact us with your serial number and we can help identify the correct parts.
