Used factory original Smith & Wesson slide stop lever assembly for the SD40 VE semi-automatic pistol chambered in .40 S&W. The slide stop lever (also called the slide release) locks the slide open after the last round is fired and allows the shooter to drop the slide when reloading. A worn, bent, or broken slide stop lever causes the slide to fail to lock back on an empty magazine or prevents the slide from releasing properly — critical malfunctions in a defensive or carry pistol. Removed from a factory firearm and inspected prior to sale.
