Smith & Wesson L Frame Model 686 Rebound Slide & Spring .357 Magnum - Part# 6867
Smith & Wesson L Frame Model 686 Rebound Slide & Spring
Part# 6867 | .357 Magnum | Stainless Steel | Old Style Used Part
The rebound slide and spring are essential components of the double-action trigger return mechanism. After each trigger pull, the rebound slide pushes the trigger back to its forward position and resets the hammer to the half-cock notch. A worn or broken rebound slide or spring results in a trigger that won't reset — rendering the revolver inoperable. This is a genuine S&W factory old-style stainless steel unit pulled from a Model 686 and ready to restore proper function.
