This listing is for one used Smith & Wesson J Frame Pre-Model main spring and stirrup assembly. This is an OEM factory part in used condition. The main spring (also called the hammer spring) powers the hammer, while the stirrup links the main spring to the hammer. This assembly fits all J Frame Pre-Model revolvers produced before the model numbering system began in 1957–58.
