Note: This is a centerfire hammer assembly only. It is NOT compatible with J Frame rimfire models (.22 LR or .22 Magnum) such as Models 34, 35, 43, 53, 43C, 63, 317, 351C, 351PD, or 651, which require rimfire-specific hammers.

How to Identify Your Model

To determine your Smith & Wesson model number, swing out the cylinder and check behind the yoke on the frame for the model number. Model numbers began in 1957-58. If there is no model number, your revolver may be pre-1957. Contact us with your serial number for assistance.
