Factory Smith & Wesson used mainspring and stirrup set for the J Frame Pre-34 Kit Gun revolver chambered in .22 LR. The stirrup is the U-shaped link that connects the mainspring to the hammer. The Pre-34 is the pre-model-number designation for the J Frame rimfire Kit Gun produced before S&W adopted model numbers in 1957–58. Gunsmith installation recommended.
