Factory new Smith & Wesson OEM extractor for the N Frame Model 29 revolver chambered in .44 Magnum, new style configuration. The extractor (star-shaped component) simultaneously grips the cartridge rims in each cylinder chamber — when the ejector rod is pushed, it ejects all spent cases at once for fast reloading. A bent, cracked, or worn extractor causes cases to stick, fail to eject cleanly, or drag during cylinder rotation. Factory new, never installed.
