This is an old-style side plate. It is not intended for later-production N Frames or other N Frame models unless you've checked the fit yourself.

Before Installation

Smith & Wesson side plates were hand-fitted to each frame at the factory, so a swapped plate may need some minor fitting to sit flush. Compare the screw holes and shape against your original before you order, and have a qualified gunsmith install it if you're unsure.
