Used thumb piece and nut for the Smith & Wesson Model 27 N Frame revolver chambered in .357 Magnum. The thumb piece (cylinder release latch) is the lever on the left side of the frame — pushing it forward releases the cylinder to swing out for loading and unloading. The nut secures the thumb piece to the frame. N Frame thumb pieces are larger than J or K Frame parts and are not interchangeable between frame sizes.
