Factory Smith & Wesson used blued thumbpiece (cylinder release latch) for the K Frame M&P 1905 (Military & Police 4th Change) Hand Ejector revolver chambered in .38 Special. The thumbpiece is the lever pushed forward to swing the cylinder out for loading and unloading. The M&P 1905 is an early pre-model-number variant of the iconic Military & Police Hand Ejector series. Gunsmith installation recommended.
