Smith & Wesson Model 63 J Frame Cylinder Stop & Spring .22 LR, Part# 6381
Smith & Wesson Model 63 Cylinder Stop & Spring – Part# 6381
This is a genuine factory Smith & Wesson cylinder stop and spring for the J Frame Model 63 revolver chambered in .22 Long Rifle. An old-style used part in serviceable condition — a cost-effective solution for restoring proper cylinder lockup on your Model 63.
The cylinder stop (also called the cylinder bolt) rises to lock the cylinder in precise alignment with the barrel at the moment of firing. A worn, chipped, or broken cylinder stop results in poor lockup, cylinder wobble, and degraded accuracy or reliability. Includes the cylinder stop spring.

Pre-1957 revolvers may not have a model number — contact us with your serial number for assistance.
Installation
Cylinder stop replacement requires side plate removal and disassembly of the lock work. Cylinder timing must be verified after installation to ensure safe, reliable lockup. We recommend installation by a qualified gunsmith.
