The rebound slide returns the trigger forward to its rest position after each double-action shot. The rebound spring provides the tension that drives this reset. A worn or broken rebound slide or fatigued spring results in a trigger that fails to reset, drags, or returns sluggishly — directly impacting double-action reliability and follow-up shot speed.

Installation
