Genuine factory new Smith & Wesson stainless steel extractor rod (also called ejector rod) for L Frame revolvers with 2.5" barrels. The extractor rod connects to the extractor star and drives spent cases out of the cylinder when depressed. Barrel length compatibility is critical: an incorrect-length extractor rod causes cylinder binding (rod contacts the barrel shroud during shooting), short-stroke ejection, or incomplete case extraction. Verify your barrel length is 2.5" before ordering.
