Genuine factory new OEM yoke lock detent for the Smith & Wesson K Frame Model 66 (.357 Magnum) and L Frame Model 69 (.44 Magnum) revolvers. The yoke lock detent is the small spring-loaded ball that engages a recess in the yoke (crane) to lock the cylinder assembly firmly in the closed position when swung into the frame. A worn, missing, or weak detent causes the cylinder to have noticeable play when closed — the cylinder will feel loose or rattle in the frame rather than locking up solidly. This is a factory new OEM part manufactured to original S&W specifications and tolerances.
