Note: Recessed cylinders are specific to earlier production variants. Later Model 19 and 13 variants (19-5 and later, 13-4 and later) use non-recessed cylinders and are not compatible with this assembly. Cylinders are also caliber-specific — this assembly is for .357 Magnum/.38 Special only and is not interchangeable with other calibers or frame sizes.

Finding Your Model Number

Swing out the cylinder and check behind the yoke on the frame for the model number and dash number. Model numbers began in 1957–58. If your revolver has no model number, contact us with your serial number and we can help identify the correct part.

Installation

Disassembly and reassembly of the revolver is required to replace this part. Installation by a qualified gunsmith is strongly recommended. Cylinder and yoke fitting may require timing verification. Factory replacement parts are manufactured to the exact same specifications, tolerances, and materials as the original.
