Genuine Smith & Wesson factory replacement hammer nose rivet for K, L, and N Frame revolvers equipped with hammer-mounted firing pins. This rivet secures the firing pin (hammer nose) to the hammer and is essential for restoring proper function when replacing a worn or damaged firing pin.
Important: This part is only compatible with revolvers that have a hammer-mounted firing pin. Newer MIM-era revolvers (approximately post-1997) use a frame-mounted firing pin and do not use this rivet. Verify your revolver’s firing pin configuration before ordering.
