Smith & Wesson K Frame Model 65-6 MIM Rebound Slide Assembly .357 Magnum Used Part
Smith & Wesson K Frame Model 65-6 MIM Rebound Slide Assembly — .357 Magnum
Part Number: K711 | Condition: Used / Surplus OEM
Factory original Smith & Wesson MIM (Metal Injection Molded) rebound slide assembly removed from a used Model 65-6 revolver chambered in .357 Magnum. The Model 65 is a K-frame fixed-sight DA/SA stainless revolver; the -6 dash designates a late production MIM-era variant (post-1997). The rebound slide returns the trigger to its forward position after each shot and is a critical action timing component. Cleaned and inspected.
Assembly includes:
- Rebound slide
- Rebound spring
- Compatible Model: Smith & Wesson K Frame Model 65-6
- Caliber: .357 Magnum
- Manufacturing Method: MIM (Metal Injection Molded)
- Part Number: K711
- Condition: Used — inspected, functional
- OEM Factory Part — manufactured to original S&W specifications
Note on MIM compatibility: S&W transitioned to MIM internal components around 1997–98. This rebound slide assembly is specific to post-1997 K-frame production. Verify your model’s dash number before ordering.
How to identify your S&W revolver model: Swing out the cylinder and check behind the yoke on the frame for the model number. Model numbers were introduced in 1957–58.
Professional installation recommended. Some fitting by a qualified gunsmith may be required.
