Genuine used Smith & Wesson OEM trigger for the K Frame Model 15-4 Combat Masterpiece revolver chambered in .38 Special. This is the .265" wide grooved (serrated) trigger in the old-style configuration specific to the Model 15-4 dash variant. The .265" width is the narrow trigger profile — narrower than the wide smooth or wide grooved options — preferred by shooters who want a lighter perceived pull weight and more precise double-action control. The grooved face provides positive finger purchase without a smooth or overtravel shoe. Finding Your Model Number
Swing out the cylinder and look behind the yoke on the frame. The model number and dash number (e.g. 15-4) are stamped together. Model numbers were added starting in 1957–58.
