Factory new OEM hammer nose rivet for Smith & Wesson K Frame revolvers. This small but critical component secures the firing pin (hammer nose) to the hammer in older-style revolvers with hammer-mounted firing pins.

Function:

The hammer nose rivet secures the firing pin (hammer nose) to the hammer assembly in revolvers with hammer-mounted firing pins. This rivet must be properly installed and peened to ensure the firing pin remains securely attached during operation.

Important Note:

This rivet is for older-style K Frame revolvers with hammer-mounted firing pins. Newer models use frame-mounted firing pins and do not require this part. Verify your revolver's firing pin configuration before ordering.
