Smith & Wesson J Frame Model 32 & 33 Hand (Cylinder Pawl) .38 S&W Used - Part #V3315
Smith & Wesson J Frame Model 32 & 33 Hand (Cylinder Pawl) – .38 S&W (Old Style, Used)
Restore proper cylinder rotation on your Model 32 or Model 33 with this genuine Smith & Wesson factory hand. The hand — also called the cylinder pawl or ratchet pawl — is the part that rotates the cylinder one chamber at a time as the trigger is pulled or the hammer is cocked. A worn or broken hand causes the cylinder to fail to rotate, skip chambers, or not index properly, making it one of the most critical timing components in the revolver.
Old-style configuration correct for the Model 32 and Model 33. Sourced from a used firearm and inspected for function.

How to Identify Your S&W Model Number
Swing out the cylinder and check behind the yoke on the frame. Model numbers were introduced in 1957–58. If no model number is present, your revolver may pre-date that era — contact us with your serial number and we can help identify the correct part.
