This is a used rear adjustable sight body only — no blade, windage screw, or stud included. The parts needed to complete a rebuild are listed below with the link to them. Inspect the photo carefully and verify the 2.09" measurement (back of sight to center of mounting hole) matches your firearm before ordering.

This sight body requires the following additional parts to complete a rebuild:
- Sight Plunger/Detent: S&W Adjustable Rear Sight Plunger/Detent – J, K, L, N, X Frame – 071580000
- Sight Plunger/Detent Spring: Smith & Wesson Revolver Rear Sight Plunger/Detent Spring – K, L, N, X Frame – 036390000
⚠ Caution: The plunger and spring are very small parts that can easily be lost during disassembly. Work over a tray or parts mat and take care not to let them spring free.

Disassembly and reassembly required. Installation and fitting by a qualified gunsmith is recommended. Factory replacement parts are manufactured to original S&W specifications and tolerances.
How to Find Your Model Number
Swing out the cylinder and check behind the yoke on the frame. Model numbers were introduced in 1957–58. If no model number is present, your revolver may pre-date 1957. Contact us with your serial number and we can help identify the correct part.
