Keeps the spring on the firing pin, but the outer diameter seems a little large. After reinstalling the spring keepers experienced multiple light strikes resulting in FTF. This was combined with a lighter firing pin spring so that could be the issue. By feel there is some drag on the travel. Unfortunately I do not have the original set of spring keepers to test by swapping them out. I will swap the original spring back in and see if it improves. I will also file down the outer diameter of the keepers and try with the reduced power spring, being careful to not reduce the diameter to less than the spring
